Top 5 Websites For Hotel Reservation Deals Worldwide

·

My fiancé and I travel at least three times a year to see our families up north. We prefer to stay in a hotel as my mother lives in a 19th century mansion and my fiancé’s mother lives in a much smaller home. Both homes are lacking in many amenities that we desire when we want to feel like we are actually on vacation-air conditioning and Internet. I’ve used several online hotel-booking sites over the years, but there are certain hotels that I like to stay at, and specific booking sites that always offer great promotions and sales on these particular properties.

Discount Hotel Reservations

My best friend just booked with Discount Hotel Reservations as she was traveling to Italy with her older sister for a holiday. She informed me to look at the special offers prior to looking at available hotels. The hotels with the best prices are marked with a tag that says “Big Sale” and “Top Hotels”. These specially negotiated hotels are discounted
up to 70% for some of the most popular destinations worldwide.

Hotels.com

Hotel.com offers discount Hotels, cash back, and prepaid visa cards just for booking particular hotel deals. Under their deals section, you can save hundreds of dollars on casino trips, last minute travel, family vacations, as well as romantic getaways. Sign up via email for exclusive discounts.

Travelocity

Travelocity sells hotels at 50% off the normal price. One thing that sets Travelocity apart from its competitors is the fact that they offer a guarantee. If you find a lower price online, Travelocity won't just match it, they will also give you $50 off your next trip. Also, if any of the amenities are not in perfect condition or operation, Travelocity will let you know before your trip, in case you want to make changes to your reservation.

Hotwire

Hotwire is one of the most popular hotel reservation sites on the Internet. They claim to save travelers over 50% when booking a hotel, and I can attest to this fact. When hotels and resorts have empty or unsold rooms, they use Hotwire to fill them. You can also use their Trip Watcher tool to stay updated about the lowest hotel rates 60 days prior to your trip.

Priceline

Priceline offers thousands of hotels around the world for a fraction of the cost you would normally spend going directly to their site. There is no need for bidding as Priceline sells the rooms at already discounted prices. I typically navigate under the hotel tab and check out their express deals, where you can save up to 45% off hotels worldwide. Keep in mind that availability changes daily.

All five of these hotel-booking sites offer a variety of services to travelers looking for a particular holiday or vacation experience. Their promotions change day to day based on demand and availability, so I suggest when you find the perfect accommodations, book them before you lose your chance to save a bundle.
